Saddle up! and join Polly Texas Pioneer Association for a “Hill Country Get Together” in Polly, Texas on June 18, 2016 at the historic Polly's Chapel. Click here for directions. Polly Texas Pioneer Association is dedicated to acquiring and preserving the legacy and heritage left behind by JP Polly Rodriguez and other settlers. This annual fundraiser provides funding for the preservation and maintenance of historical landmarks in the historic J.P. Rodriguez Settlement. As a non-profit 501.c.3 organization, they depend on the support of friends, family and the community. All contributions are tax deductible.
Come enjoy country music, a prairie lunch, a frontier auction and a historical exhibit on Jose Policarpio “Polly” Rodriguez. The day begins at 11:00 am with welcoming remarks, music and entertainment will start at 11:45 and end at 1:00pm. Lunch is served at noon and includes: smoked brisket, juicy sausage, prairie chicken, fireside beans, potato salad and iced tea. Dessert will be homemade peach cobbler and cupcake brownies.
