Kuasse Village

KUASSE VILLAGE. Kuasse (Kiaffes, Kiasses) village, mentioned to Henri Joutel by the Ebahamos in 1687, was said to be located north or northwest of the Colorado River. The Kuasse Indians may be the same as the Acafes and the Cacafes identified by Spanish writers or the Akasquy identified by René Robert Cavelier, Sieur de La Salle.
