IRIGOYEN, JOSÉ (?–?). José Irigoyen was appointed Spanish governor of Texas but never arrived to claim his office. On August 5, 1797, Pedro de Nava told Manuel Muñoz of the appointment and instructed Muñoz to deliver the company and archives of Bexar to the new governor when he should arrive from Spain.
